THE BRIEF

The project called for a new house on a Palo Alto lot, built low and lit through skylights and clerestories at every turn.

THE DESIGN

Walnut cabinetry runs wall to wall against white quartz and black shiplap, with every drawer and pull-out fitted to its contents. A run of copper blown-glass pendants marks the kitchen, and a green tiled bath adds the one note of color in an otherwise walnut and white house.
