THE BRIEF

A Palo Alto home built for indoor-outdoor living, with glass doors and oversized windows opening the main living space onto an outdoor entertainment area and filling it with natural light.

THE DESIGN

Thoughtful modern touches throughout, from in-house millwork to a kitchen and dining room that fold open to the garden. A floating stair sits against a black slat wall over a planted bed, and the finishes stay quiet so the openings do the work.
